Storm windows, cleaned properly

A storm window has at least four surfaces to clean, plus the main window behind it. Where storm sashes are designed to come out, we remove them, clean both sides of every pane and the window behind, then reinstall them. Older storms can be finicky, so we take our time and handle them carefully.

Original and delicate glass

Original wood windows, wavy antique glass and leaded or divided-light windows need a gentle approach. We hand-detail this glass with a traditional scrubber and squeegee instead of rushing through it.

Seasonal storm and screen changeovers
